Welcome to the Webpage for the Hampton Garden Club! This page serves as a place for information regarding the club and its projects.
The goals of the Hampton Garden Club are:
-To promote the love of gardening, horticulture, flower design, and civic and environmental responsibility through education and practice.
-To increase our awareness of the impact we have on our environment, resulting in our commitment to plant trees and natives and to work eliminating invasive plants.
-To develop our stewardship of the natural environment, we will become actively involved in local, state, and national environmental issues.
Garden Therapy
-Three to four times yearly, members give a garden related program to approximately 18-20 senior residents at Manor Care Nursing Home.
Horticulture, Ecology
– Provide educational presentations to our members.
Political Action
– Gather information about environmental issues debated during the Maryland Legislative Session. Inform the membership and organize responses.
